  • Hydrogels of natural and synthetic polymers, stimuli-responsive hydrogels,
  • Radiation modification of natural polymers, particularly polysaccharides,
  • Radiation modification of synthetic biodegradable homo- and copolymers,
  • Mechanisms and kinetics of radiation-induced reactions of macromolecules, mainly in aqueous systems, as studied by fast kinetic methods, e.g. pulse radiolysis,
  • Radiation- & radical-induced degradation and inter- vs. intramolecular crosslinking of polymers,
  • Synthesis and properties of nano- and micro-gels,
  • Synthesis and characterization of novel polymeric biomaterials,
  • Biodegradable polymeric biomaterials,
  • Sterilization of biomaterials and medical devices,
  • Biocompatibility of biomaterials and medical devices,
  • FDM for biodegradable and biocompatible polymers,
  • Thermophysical properties of extraterrestrial matter – meteorites.
